In the heart of Kozjansko, in the village of Zdole nad Kozjem stands the Pirš hiking tourist farm, where they will be delighted to serve you their locally produced food and homemade wines.
Besides the wide array of cured meat products, they offer house specialties famous far and wide, such as: beef broth with homemade noodles and dumplings, suckling pig roasted in a wood-fired brick oven, a selection of homemade Kozjansko-style sausages, mushroom soup with buckwheat žganci, Kozjansko stews, while those with a sweet tooth will love their homemade walnut potica roll, apple and cottage cheese strudel, and several types of bread from the wood-fired oven.
The taste of home
The indoor dining room can accommodate up to 60 guests, and the youngest can use a children’s playground. In addition to the excellent menu, the farm also offers a tour of their wine cellar with tastings of their noble homemade tipple, which you can also buy, of course.
