A warm welcome and tasting of homemade goodness

The Mramor family’s vineyards and their wine tavern Gruska, which lie in the middle of the protected area of Kozjansko Regional Park, are surrounded by wonderful nature. Their wine tavern where they will welcome you and provide great food and drink is named after Gruska Cave, located a mere 200 m from the wine tavern.

Experience the homely flavours at the Mramor tourist farm, where the plates are always full of genuine specialties from Kozjansko as they swear by homemade food of exceptional quality. Next to the farm stands a beautifully renovated ‘toplar’ hayrack that offers those who climb it unforgettable views over the surrounding vineyards. The members of the family will gladly serve you a platter of homemade cold cuts, a guided wine tasting or a proper feast. The house specialty is the so-called ‘hermit’s feast’, which consists of homemade beef soup and special main course of several types of meat roasted over open fire, two side dishes, homemade cheese štruklji pasta and seasonal salad. After lunch, they will also invite you to a tasting of top quality bottled and other wines and a tour of their old wine cellar.

That said, the farm not only swears by homemade food and wine, but also fresh juices. They press the grapes and make an excellent juice they are happy to serve to all of their guests.
