From Kozje, you can head to Bister graben past the Krofl mill and from there along the Kozje castle trail or the Drachenburg trail, which is a well-maintained and safe recreational footpath that offers a glimpse into the history of Kozje. Along the way, you will discover the rich flora and fauna of the area, encounter an old limestone kiln and part of the walls of the Drachenburg castle, and at the top, you will have a wonderful view of the square and the wider surroundings in Kozje.

The trail is equipped with information, signposting and description boards, as well as benches for hikers to sit, rest and enjoy the intact nature.

The 1.2 km trail starts at the pond in Kozje and ends at the limestone kiln in Bister Graben.
