One of the most beautiful opportunities for a nature walk in the Kozjanski Park is offered by the interactive Castle path Podsreda, which starts at the main administrative office of the Kozjanski Park in Podsreda and leads through the medieval Podsreda square, past Levstik's mill on the Bistrica river, through the forest and all the way to the Podsreda castle. It is an interactive castle trail on biodiversity, marked with directional and bilingual Slovenian-English information boards, which enable exploration of the exceptional biodiversity and rich cultural heritage, as well as other attractions of the surrounding area.

On the 2. 5 km long trail, visitors can learn more about the nature of the Kozjanski Park at 14 interactive points, discover the extraordinary biodiversity of the surrounding area with the help of information boards, and they can test their knowledge about the forest and the rich flora and fauna along the trail. The Podsreda castle trail was created in the framework of the project "Biodiversity - the Art of Living" with the acronym LIFE Naturaviva (LIFE 16 GIE/SI/000711), in which Kozjanski park participates as a partner.
