The best - preserved river canyon
The canyon, which is located between Trebče and Zagaj, is about 3km long and is famous as one of the best-preserved river canyons in Eastern Slovenia. More than 200 million years ago, the river here cut its river bed, which is still surrounded today by steep, wooded, and rocky slopes. Between Rebrija and Tisovec it is so narrow, it is almost impassable.
