The »Velbana gorca« tourist farm lies on the Šmarje – Viršajn wine route. When you arrive to the farm, you will be awarded with the fine view across the whole of Kozjansko. They will treat you like a king with homemade delicacies: »pršjača« - once the bread of poor people from Kozjansko, with the farmer’s feast or an excellent platter of cold cuts. Even vegetarians will not leave the table hungry. The lord of the manor likes to put on the table a carafe of his fine wine and treat you to a small shot of homemade brandy.

If you find yourselves tired from the numerous activities and fresh air, you may stay the night in a pleasantly furnished apartment boasting a large living room with a sofa and a TV set, a small kitchen and a table with 6 chairs. The apartment contains 3 separate rooms. Two separate rooms with matrimonial beds and one extra room with multiple beds. The apartment also has a balcony with a breath-taking view. The air-conditioned apartment is located at Virštajn and also offers a grill, a balcony, free wireless internet access in all premises and free parking. The unit also has a kitchen with a fridge, a stove and a TV set.
RECREATION AND DISCOVERY OF THE SURROUNDING AREA
The area surrounding the farm is a great starting point for hikers, lovers of nature and day-trippers, as you may set off to discover the Olimje monastery, visit Pilštanj, Podsreda Castle or indulge in water-borne fun at the Terme Olimia resort. Those of you who enjoy farming activities are more than welcome to join us at grape harvest.
